Dinesh Ajwani

Dinesh had a 2 decade long and experiential journey in his financial career in the corporate world, having worked with best of the groups in India in financial sector.

After his Business Management Degree, he started his career as Wealth Advisor with Aditya Birla Group managing HNI Wealth. He later went on to work with Kotak Group, DawnayDay AV Advisors (UK based firm), Motilal Oswal Group, Capital First and finally with Piramal Group.

Financial Advisor

Managed 500 Cr + AUM for HNI & Ultra HNI Investors during Aditya Birla, Kotak Securities, DawnayDayAV & Motilal Oswal.
Raised 5000+ Crs in Equity & Alternative Funds (VCFs, PMS & AIFs when with Kotak, Piramal, Capital First & Motilal Oswal)

Research & Portfolio Analysis

As Head of Advisory & Product, in Motilal Oswal and Capital First (now IDFC First Bank), conducted extensive research for Investment products to assess Risk & Return profile of product suitable to various categories of investors. Conducted large number of Investors Portfolio Analysis and Advisory

Building Robust Platforms

Worked extensively to create Wealth Advisory Platform with Tech Integration, when in Piramal Fund, Motilal Oswal & Capital First to create high efficiency in Product Development, Advisory Process, Research, Investors Portfolio Reporting & Monitoring.

Product Expertise

Product understanding with an approach to not only see potential to perform, but more importantly to identify red flags (risk), which are attached to the product and match suitability with profile of investors. Coverage of Financial Products– Mutual Funds (MF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Fixed Income (Bonds), Alternate Investment Products (AIF), Real Estate (RE), Structured Products, Risk Management Products, Estate Planning, Global Investment Products, Private Equity, Lending Products, Fund Raising.

In 2019, he formed Bluegrid Financial Solutions LLP, in order to fulfil his passion to serve his clients with need based genuine advise as against product selling. With a belief that financial advise should strongly be based on financial personality of a person, he built his approach and created processes which are very different from a typical financial distributor.

Finances are one of strongest source of peace & happiness for a person. Every individual is driven by his or her passion which he wants to follow & achieve in his life, apart from his or her core financial goals. Their finances, need to be planned & managed smartly and in disciplined fashion which are strongly align with their objectives, expectations and values.

Dinesh is passionate about expanding the field of financial planning, growing the profession, promoting financial literacy and helping many clients reach financial independence. Dinesh has spoken at many events to address large number of investors and advisors in his professional career.

Dinesh is a commerce graduate and holds a degree in Business Administration in Finance. Additionally, he also gathered a skill set in software & technology while working with Rank Computers, Computer Marketing company prior to graduation.

When he isn’t at the office or meeting with clients, he can be found playing badminton, in a restaurant (being a foodie), or spending time with his 2 daughters.
